Our understanding of process and chronology of movement can be best demonstrated if the body possesses flexibility and range of movement. Coupled with relaxation and our "ground-generated movement theory," flexibility provides a supple base to be acted upon by our weight shifting in ever more dynamic ways.
And so, it gives us great pleasure to release our very first Intensive focusing on flexibility and its role in our practice!
Functional Flexibility Training starts with an extended warmup of dynamic stretching to get our bodies warm and blood flow going, followed by an in-depth lesson where we'll breakdown static stretches while incorporating opposing tension.
